GLASS SCHOOL

An educational project initiated in 2009 and located in the village of El Porvenir del Norte (Camalote). The Escuela del Vidrio provides for low-income children and teenagers from rural areas, who otherwise would not have access to an education. In fact, it offers them a three-year professional training in either Glass Art or Cooking and Tourism, under the certification of CONEANFO (National Commission for the Development of Non-Formal Alternative Education). At the same time, they take the Basic Cycle exams (formal education) thanks to an agreement with IHER (Honduran Institute of Education by Radio), and can also access compulsory secondary education.

UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

We provide the opportunity to access a university education to those who wish it and have worked hard for it.

As of 2023, we have 7 ex students on a scholarship, all of whom give back by collaborating with the school. This way, we create a bond between ex students and current students. We feel extremely proud of our ex students who are on a scholarship, as they are an example to our current students.

SCHOOL FOR PARENTS

This project is based on the education of the parents about the long term benefits of educating their children in obligatory education but also in technical studies, and how important education is not only for their children but also for themselves.

ALUMNI PROJECT

This is a support project for the students graduated from the Escuela del Vidrio, to aid them in their professional and personal development. We help them with possible job opportunities, further training, or with projects that may arise from our partner foundations.

ENTREPRENEUR COMMUNITY

Thanks to the company Tetuan Valley, our students learn about starting a business through talks and courses with experienced entrepreneurs, both Spanish and Honduran.Whatever their project is, we give them the necessary tools so that they have the opportunity to launch their ideas.

TECHNOLOGY CLUB

This project arose with the objective of fighting against the digital divide that exists in Honduras, through giving our students the knowledge and tools necessary to be able to not only develop their projects with technical support, but also work and study remotely.

FAMILY GARDENS

The families of our students are aided in starting their own vegetable gardens, so as to feed themselves in a sustainable, healthy, cheap, and natural manner..

COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE VOLUNTEERING

The majority of the families have very complicated situations and so it is essential that we provide them with the support needed. Both the physical and mental health of our students is our utmost priority..
