The Friends of the Glass School Association is a not-for-profit NGO, made up of committed professionals who have a common goal of the defense of quality education for children and young people,as a means to improve quality of life and development at the community level.

We implement educational, labour insertion, and community assistance projects in El Progreso, Yoro, Honduras.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Glass School

Our main project is the Glass School. A school that accommodates underprivileged children and young people from rural and poor areas on the outskirts of El Progreso.

At the Glass School , we develop educational enrichment programs thanks to volunteering and collaboration.

After graduating from the school, our ex students can choose to be a part of our other projects, like our university scholarships,, entrepreneurship aid, and internship and alumni programs.

ENTITIES THAT SUPPORT US

VERON FOUNDATION

The VERON FOUNDATION headquartered in Madrid supports the project through fundraising and communication. They are aided by more than 35 volunteers who help to reach more people and potential donors.

Friends of the Glass School Association

Supports the interests of the school through local initiatives to find financing and making decisions for its evolution. This association is the motor of the Escuela del Vidrio at a local level. They are immersed in the daily activity of the school, taking on the role of its Board of Directors.
